Blackburn College junior women's golfer, Bailey Hughes was named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's All-Sportsmanship Team for the fall 2019 season.  Hughes, from Carlinville, led the womens' golfers for Blackburn with a 106-109 for a 215 total.  Hughes becomes Blackburn College's first ever recipient of the sportsmanship award in women's golf as this is the inaugural season for women's golf at Blackburn College. 

"Baylee is an amazing and genuine person who is an example of what good sportsmanship in collegiate athletics should resemble.  The Sportsmanship Award is a testament to her and the way she always models what it means to be a great teammate, opponent and leader," said Blackburn Golf Coach and Athletic Director John Malin.
