The Blackburn College Women's Soccer team lost to Greenville College 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon in Carlinville.

The Panthers outshot Blackburn 33-6 and forced senior goalkeeper Shana Sewick(Belvidere, Ill.) to make 15 saves. Sewick's effort wasn't enough as Greenville tallied four goals in the second half.

All of Blackburn's offense on the day came from the Carlinville duo of Alexis Richie and Nique Byots. Richie had had four shots while Byots registered two.

With the loss, the Beavers drop to 6-9 overall and 1-5 in conference play. They will host first-year conference opponent Iowa Wesleyan on Saturday for Senior Day.
