Women's Soccer Drops a 3-0 Decision to Westminster

The Blackburn College Women's Soccer Team dropped a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference soccer match on Saturday afternoon in Carlinville by a 3-0 margin.

Westminster scored in the first 2:33 of the match when Courtney Whitlock dropped a shot over the top of Blackburn goalkeeper Jourdin McFarland.  The match stayed at 1-0 until halftime. Westminster put the game away with two goals within five minutes of each other in the second half.

McFarland had ten saves in goal for Blackburn as the Beavers were out-shot 25-3 in the match.

Blackburn is now 5-9 overall and 1-4 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
