Freshman Michayne Weber and senior Autumn Wilson took to the track on Friday, February 17, at the Hilltop Invite in Jacksonville, Illinois. Weber competed in both the 200 and 400 meters, completing the races in 33.50 and 1:22.28, while Wilson finished the 400 meters in 1:19.17. Sophomore distance runner, Olivia Leemon, was unable to make the trip.

Coach Al Sturgeon said, “This was a great opportunity for Mickey (Michayne) to race in two events for the first time at the college level. Mickey is a talented sprinter and simply needs more opportunities to compete. And Autumn raced well once again in what will be her last indoor meet of the season. However, I look forward to having her back soon for outdoor season!”

The indoor team will travel to Principia for the SLIAC Indoor Championships on Saturday, February 25.
