The Beavers start off the night hot by winning the first set in a tough fashion with a 27-25 victory.  However that fast start was put to a stop by the Panthers of Principia College, who then went on to win the next three sets 25-10, 25-20, and 25-18.

Blackburn started off the first set toe to toe with Principia until the 25th point, where Blackburn topples over Principa to win the first set.

In the second set, Principia jumped out to a quick lead in which Blackburn could never recover from and lost the set 25-10.

In the third set, Blackburn and Principia were tied up until the eleventh point and then Principia went on a six point rally to separate themselves from the Beavers.  

In the final deciding set, Blackburn and Principia traded points until the 15th point, in which Principia went on a run to decide the match at 25-18.

Leading Blackburn in kills was Alanni Young with 14 kills.  Also, leading the team in digs was Marlee Lindstrom with 19 digs.
