On October 6th, Blackburn College took on Greenville College in a conference match. Despite the continuous effort, the Beavers fell short to the Panthers in three sets by the scores 25-16, 25-23 and 25-15.

In the first set, the Beavers came out ready to play and never gave up on the play. In the second set after a back and forth battle the Beavers fell short to the Panthers. The third set it was all Panthers as they finished as they finished the three set sweep.

The Greenville Panthers came out in an aggressive approach with strong hitters all across the court. For the Beavers Maria Cline, Alanni Young and Emily Schroeder led with 5 kills each.

The Blackburn Beavers are back in action at Fontbonne Tuesday October 11th.
