McNeil, Harrington Named Athletes of the Week

CARLINVILLE, IL--Freshman Byron McNeil and sophomore Isabella Harrington earned Blackburn College Athletes of the Week.

McNeil lead the Beavers this weekend at the Illinois Wesleyan Frist Chance Meet placing 5th overall in triple jump of 42 feet, 11.25 inches and also posted a time of 37.70 in the 300 meter run. He has set new school records in both of these events!

Harrington competed in three events, the 200 meter run, the 300 meter run and the 600 meter run. Harrington also made history by setting a new school record in the 200 and 300 meter runs!

This week sees the men's basketball team on the road this Saturday to Iowa to face off with Grinell College. Men's and Women's wrestling continue their season at the North Central Invite on Saturday as well.
