Blackburn Presents Homecoming Weekend Athletic Events

CARLINVILLE, IL – Blackburn College invites alumni, families, and fans to return to campus for Homecoming and Family Weekend, set for September 26–28, featuring a high-energy lineup of athletic events designed to bring together past and present Beavers.

The weekend will feature a full slate of athletic activities, including alumni games, home contests, the B-Club Golf Tournament and the Beaver Nation Fan Zone at the Athletic Fields.

"We are excited to welcome alumni, families, and fans back to campus," said Kim Camara-Harvey, Director of Athletics. "Athletics is a vital part of the Blackburn experience, and Homecoming is the perfect time to reconnect with former teammates, support our current student-athletes, and celebrate the tradition and pride that define Beaver Nation.

A staple of Blackburn's Homecoming celebrations, the alumni games invite former student-athletes to return to the field, court, or diamond to relive memorable moments and reunite with teammates.  Whether competing or cheering from the sidelines, alumni will have the opportunity to reconnect with each other and engage with today's student athletes and staff.

The Beaver Nation Fan Zone will serve as a vibrant gathering space during our home soccer contests. The Fan Zone will include food and beverage vendors, music, lawn games, giveaways, and a fun atmosphere that encourages families, alumni, and students to come together and cheer on the Beavers.
