Hall, Vidmar Earn Blackburn Player of the Week Honors

CARLINVILLE, IL -- The Blackburn College Athletes of the Week were senior Kevin Hall and freshman Grace Vidmar.
Hall is a member of the men's golf team and led the team at the Cougar Fall Classic after posting a two-round score of 155. After posting an 83 during his first round, he came back to score a one over par 73 which ties his best round of the season and is the second best round of his career.
From women's soccer, Vidmar helped guide the Beavers to back to back wins by scoring three goals. Vidmar scored the team's second goal in Wednesday's win at Mount Mary University for their first win of the season. She followed it with two goals in the team's 4-0 home opener win over Spurgeon College. She finished the week with 28 shots putting 17 on goal giving her a .607 shot on goal percentage.
This weeks sees BC host several events, starting with the women's soccer team hosting Lincoln Land Community College in a "Paint the town red" match with all fans encouraged to wear win.
On Wednesday, men's soccer continues their homestand with a match against Anderson University followed by the volleyball home opener against Harris Stowe State University.
Friday sees women's soccer back in action for another home match, this time hosting Maranatha Baptist University.
Saturday features another home men's soccer matchup when the Beavers host Knox College. The volleyball team will also being St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday with a tri-match at Webster University where they will play Webster and Mississippi University for Women.
