Lowell Schwartz will begin his third season as the program's pitching coach. After spending the last three years on the Beavers’ pitching staff, Schwartz has received the nod to handle the development and training of the pitchers. 

Schwartz has been very active in his own development as a coach and has attended premiere coaching clinics across the Midwest, including Pitch-A-Palooza and the I-70 Coach’s Clinic. A life-long learner, Schwartz continuously studies and reads on topics such as: mental game, breathing practice, weight-training, mobility, sabermetrics, advanced metrics, and pitchability. 

Moving forward, Schwartz plans to receive a certification from Driveline Baseball and become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His hometown is Glendale, Arizona, where both of his parents live. Schwartz also has a brother in the US Army.
