FULTON, MO– The Blackburn College Men's Basketball team traveled to Fulton, Missouri to take on Westminster College in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The Beavers took it down to the wire but could not seal the deal and fell 77-73.
The Bluejays would strike first but the Beavers were quick to answer. At the end of the half, it was close 34-38 Westminster leading. The Beavers kept it close in the second half and went bucket for bucket with the Bluejays, but the hosts were able to pull off the 77-73 victory.
Odis Grissom led the Beavers with 21 points tacking on 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Ayson McLuskie followed him up with 14 points, and Tyson Johnson rounded out the scoring with 10 points.
The Blackburn College Men's Basketball team returns to SLIAC action on Saturday, February 8th where they take on Spalding University at home.
