On March 24^th the Blackburn Men's Golf team competed in a quad match hosted by Lewis and Clark Community College.  The Beavers found themselves in windy conditions and struggle to find a way to conquer the always tough Belk Park Golf Course in Alton, IL.  However, one lone Beaver found his way into the top 5.  Placing 4^th on the afternoon was Kyle Kesinger who went out and braved the conditions and was able to come into the clubhouse with a team high 78.  Kesinger tied with another competitor and won his first scorecard playoff of his career.  As a team the Beavers shot a 356 placing them 4^th out of the four teams competing.  Winning the tournament was John A. Logan College who shot 312 as a team.  Coming in 2^nd was Lewis and Clark who shot 320 as a team and following close behind was Mineral Area College who shot one more stroke worse at 321 as a team to take 3^rd. 

The Beavers look to continue their season on April 4^th when the team travels to Iowa Wesleyan College.  The tee off times are set for 11 am.
