On September 10th, the Blackburn Men's Golf team competed in its first tournament of the year, the Greenville Invitational. The weather conditions were nothing near perfect as the Beavers battled high winds all day on a course that gave them no strokes in return.  The Beavers made the most of it by shooting 308 as a team to win the tournament.  The team also had the top three finishers.  Finishing first in the tournament was Kyle Kesinger who shot a 74.  Finishing tied for second was Jordan McMillen and Trenton Easely who both shot 76.  Rounding out the scoring for the Beavers was freshman, Keegan Easely who shot 82.

 The Beavers look to continue the hot start as they travel to Galena, IL to play in the Midwest Regional Classic on September 17th and 18th.
