Men's Golf Competes in the SLIAC Championships

METAMORA, IL -- Blackburn College Men's Golf concluded their season in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships at Metamora Fields. 

Sophomore Kevin Hall led the Beavers by tying for 41st. He finished with a total score of 236 with a first round of 80 followed by rounds of 76 and 80. 

Sophomore Bryce Wrightsman was close behind in 48th as his rounds of 81, 79 and 78 gave him a final score of 238. 

Junior Jacob Sauvage finished in a tie for 54th. He had a final score of 256 and shot rounds of 85, 81, and 90. 

Justin Atkinson was 57th with rounds of 88, 85, and 86 for a total of 259 with sophomore Dylan Best round out the team as his scores of 90, 89 and 83 gave him 262 and 58th place. 

The Beavers finished ahead of Westminster College and Eureka College and finished 11th out of 13 teams. With the conclusion of the meet, the 2023-24 season comes to a close.
