Sauvage named All-Sportsmanship Team as Men's Golf Sees Program Success at SLIAC Championships
EDINBURGH, IN -- The Blackburn College Men's Golf team saw program success at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, played Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh, Indiana.
EDINBURGH, IN -- The Blackburn College Men's Golf team saw program success at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, played Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh, Indiana. Senior Jacob Sauvage was named to the leagues All-Sportsmanship Team.
Junior Kevin Hall led the Beavers with 225, posting rounds of 77, 75 and 73, to tie for 22nd overall.
Senior Bryce Wrightsman tied for 28th and highlighted his championships appearance with a career-best 69 on day two. He also shot rounds of 82 and 78 to finish with 229.
Senior Nick Rosborough and Sauvage tied at 254 while junior Ryan Farris rounded out the BC squad.
The team's 305 on day two also marks the team's lowest round score of the season and best in several years. As a team, the Beavers finished 10th overall which is improved over last year's finish.
