The Blackburn College Men's Soccer Team lost 5-1 in a conference match against Westminster College on October 22, at 7 pm. at Westminster College.

In the game, Steven Cowles scored the only goal for the Beavers.  The goal came on a corner kick by Jordan Allen, on the kick a Westminster defender deflected it to the back post of the goal and, Steven Cowles was in perfect position and headed it into the net.  Shortly after that Westminster scored two goals on Blackburn in the first half, 2-1 and in the second half they scored three more goals ending the game 5-1 in favor of the Blue Jays.

The Beavers move to 5-8-3 in the season.

Come out to watch the Beavers play on their Senior night on October 25, at 3 pm. in Carlinville against Principia College.
