CARLINVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Men's Soccer was forced to play a man down early which ended up proving the difference as the Beavers fell to Cornell College 2-0 in nonconference action.
Freshman Tyler Marconi posted two shots with one on goal to lead the offensive attack. Senior Jacob Sauvage and freshman Fredy Paiz also posted a shot on goal.
Senior goalkeeper Dawson Klunk tallied three saves.
Blackburn will look to respond quickly as they host Knox College Friday afternoon in another nonconference contest.
