Noah Daum Named Blackburn Cross Country and Track & Field Coach

CARLINVILLE, IL – Blackburn College has selected Noah Daum as the new Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach.
"I am so excited to join the staff at Blackburn College as the Head Coach of Cross Country and Track and Field," Daum said. "Blackburn is a special place to me as an alum, and I see amazing potential in this program. I can't wait to be a part of the success of our student-athletes both on and off the track! Daum returns to Blackburn after graduating in 2018 where he was a standout runner for the Beavers and was a four-year letterwinner.
Most recently, he served as a running coach with Spewak Training in St. Louis, Missouri. During this time, he wrote and executed personalized training plans for numerous athletes, developing their physical and mental growth while prioritizing athlete success and well-being.
Working largely in a remote role, he also implemented communication strategies, including weekly emails to his athletes and monthly newsletters to the organization. He was also responsible for recruiting and retaining athletes, resulting in increased program competitiveness. Through his efforts, he led athletes to achieve personal records in various distances.
He is also a Road Runners Club of America Nationally Certified Running Coach.
