Cross Country Runs in Greenville Classic

HILLSBORO, IL -- The Blackburn College Cross Country teams competed in the Greenville Classic Friday night. 

The men's squad ran an 8k and was led by freshman Scotty Cuff who finished in a time of 34:11.16. Senior Ulises Espinoza crossed the finish line 35:17.10 while sophomore Collyn Oberkfell was done in 35:32.65. 

Seniors Kobe Patton and Marco Nova rounded out the men's team. 

On the women's side, Alexis Johnson ran the 5k course in 22:56.95. 

The teams will now turn their attention to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship meet set for November 2.
