Sophomore India Harris was the top scorer for the Beavers with 14 points, followed by sophomore Kenadee Frey with eight points. Junior Caidy Tuetken led the Beavers with nine rebounds while sophomore Ella Wilson and junior Zoe Mitchell added five each.
The Panthers came out very strong and took an early lead that proved too much to overcome. The Beavers outscored the Panthers 20-9 in the fourth quarter but it was not enough to overcome the strong Principia start as the Panthers took a 77-40 victory.
The Beavers will travel to Fontbonne University for their next St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match on Wednesday evening.
