Blackburn Women's Soccer falls to rival MacMurray

The Blackburn Women's Soccer team was defeated 3-0 by MacMurray College on October 9th, 2019 in Carlinville, IL.

 

Blackburn was shorthanded as two starters Lexi Lusk and Izzy Erickson were both unable to play.

 

  • Blackburn was outshot 25-4. Tess Saathoff and Libby Adams each with two shots.
  • Morgan Zobrist had ten saves for the Beavers
  • The Highlanders were led by Krystal Kohensky with ten shots and scored two goals

 

 

 

Blackburn falls to 3-6 (1-1 SLIAC) and MacMurray improves to 5-5 (2-0 SLIAC). The Beavers will be home Saturday, October 12th to host Principia College. The game will start at 3:00 PM.
