Women's Soccer Loses Conference Match to Greenville

The Blackburn College Women's Soccer Team lost a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match on Saturday afternoon in Carlinville by a 5-0 margin to the Panthers of Greenville University.  The Panthers had five different goal scorers in the match as Greenville out-shot the Beavers 26-7.  Libby Adams took six of the Beavers seven shots including two of them that were on goal.  Greenville scored a pair of goals in the first half and put the match away with three more in the second half.  Sofia Faro had six saves in goal for Blackburn.

Blackburn drops to 3-5-3 overall and 0-3-1 in the SLIAC and will be back in action on Thursday October 12 at home against Lyon College.
