Gabe Attanasio enters his third season as an assistant for the women's soccer program. Attanaio is currently employed at the University of Illinois-Springfield in the Financial Aid department. 

Before coming to Blackburn, Attanasio was the Head Women`s Soccer Coach at Rockford University from 2020 until 2021. Prior to that time, he served as the Head Women`s Soccer at MacMurray College.  Attanasio has previously worked with head coach John Mansholt as an assistant at both MacMurray College from 2015-2016 and also at Jacksonville High School from 2014 until 2019.

A natve of Chicago Heights, Illinois, Attanasio earned his  bachelor's degree in History from the University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana and as well as a Master's degree in Teaching from National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois.
