Kennedy Netters Named Volleyball Assistant

Blackburn College has named Kennedy Netters as the new assistant Volleyball coach. Netters comes to Blackburn after a playing career Harris-Stowe State University and a stint coaching on the club volleyball circuit. A native of Peoria, Illinois and graduate of Dunlap High School, Netters coached a few different club teams in the Peoria area and also one team in St. Louis, Missouri, where Harris-Stowe is located.

After graduating in 2018 from Harris-Stowe, Netters served as a volunteer assistant on the staff at her alma mater.  Netters graduated with a bachelor's in Psychology. 

Netters has many years of playing experience.  After four years at Dunlap High School, she attended and played at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois before transferring to Harris-Stowe.  During her two-year career at Harris-Stowe, Netters tallied 1101 assists and 39 service aces.

"We are very excited to add Kennedy to our coaching staff," said Blackburn Head Coach Morgan Hauser.  "She brings the skill-set of teaching setting to our program which is a great addition to help us improve," added Hauser.
