Elizabeth Bowyer, senior hitter for the Beavers, has been named the Reno’s Pizza Player of the Week for the second week in a row.
Following her performance from two weeks ago, Bowyer had another standout performance across her games this past week. Most notably, Bowyer punched the Beavers into the postseason with her performance in the match against Eureka College.
In a must-win situation, Bowyer recorded a stat line against Eureka that included 16 kills, 17 digs, and six blocks. She was the main driving force towards the win secured by the Beavers.
Bowyer and Blackburn will travel to Webster University on Wednesday evening to take on the Gorloks at 7:00 p.m. The winner will head to Greenville on Saturday, November 5th, for the SLIAC Volleyball tournament.
