Blackburn College Freshman Defensive Specialist Tam Nguyen was named to the all-tournament team for her play at the season opening Illinois College Tournament.  Nguyen, from Huntsville, Alabama led the Beavers in each of the four contests in digs with a high of 24 in the Beavers 3-1 victory over Luther. "Tam was a key part in our success this weekend.  She was very solid in serve receive and was all over the place on defense," said Blackburn Coach Marlee Kirby.  "She played a big time role as a freshman and truly deserves the recognition," added Kirby.
